Description
Red Lebanese Bekaa Valley is a fig reported to be found growing in the Bekaa Valley of East Lebanon by a collector named Marius. It is in the Mount Etna family of figs and is very typical of other figs in this family. It is a small, dark skinned, dark red fleshed fig. It has the characteristic Mount Etna dark berry jam flavor. This variety seems to grow well in hot and cold climates and is a favorite of many.
